New Thinking in a Pandemic: Ann Harrison & Kellie McElhaney

Dean Ann Harrison hosts Distinguished Teaching Fellow Kellie McElhaney, founding director of the Center for Equity, Gender, and Leadership, for a discussion about the disproportionate impact the coronavirus pandemic is having on women and people of color. What are businesses doing—and what can they improve upon—to address these inequities? How can we move toward a more equitable recovery and systemic change?

This was the first event in the new twice-monthly series New Thinking in a Pandemic – Business, Economics & Inclusion. Hosted by Berkeley Haas faculty, the series brings cutting-edge, high-level thinking and analysis on a range of topics around business, economics, and equity during the coronavirus pandemic and beyond. Talks will feature faculty and thought leaders from Haas, UC Berkeley, and other academic institutions.

All events will be streamed live on YouTube. Viewers may ask questions via chat.
