UC Berkeley Haas ranked No. 3 in the U.S. in Bloomberg Businessweek’s “Best Business School Rankings 2025-26.”

The annual ranking, published today, is based on input from recent full-time MBA graduates, alumni, and employers, as well as school-provided data.

Programs are ranked on what Bloomberg Businessweek defines as the five fundamental elements of business education: graduate compensation, learning, entrepreneurship, the network, and inclusivity. Employers, students, and alumni are asked about their experiences in these five areas, which are weighted by their importance to respondents.

Haas rose this year in all five areas, ranking:

#3 overall
#2 for entrepreneurship (based on student and recruiter surveys)
#5 for networking (based on student surveys)
#8 for learning (based on student surveys)
#10 for compensation (based on survey questions and data on median salary, median alumni salary, placement, percentage of class with bonus, and size of bonus)
#10 for inclusion (based on student gender and racial diversity)

Haas Dean Jennifer Chatman said she was thrilled by the ranking.

“This recognition is particularly meaningful because it reflects feedback from our alumni, current students, and employers, who all agree that the Haas experience transforms careers and lives,” she said. “While rankings fluctuate year-to-year, this one is a result of the investments we’ve made in the classroom along with our inclusive community, career outcomes, extensive alumni networks, and strength in entrepreneurship and innovation.”
