Amy Chang, an expert in the healthcare services and talent management solutions industries, died July 16 after a valiant battle with breast cancer. She was 53.
Chang was a strategy and financial executive with 25+ years of experience leading initiatives focused on growth, building scalable operating models, M&A, and integration planning with both publicly traded and privately held companies. She also served as a board member and advisory board member of more than 15 companies and was heavily involved in the San Diego entrepreneurial ecosystem, channeling her passion and insight into investments in over 50 startups.
Her work advanced countless nonprofits, startups, and mission-driven organizations, including the YMCA of San Diego County. She was also an active board member of the Haas Alumni Network’s San Diego Chapter. She leaves behind a legacy of leadership, innovation, and dedication to the betterment of both industries and individuals. A celebration of her life will be held in San Diego on Sept. 6.
