Fact: This B-school encourages prospective EMBA students to send a resume to an admissions officer prior to submitting an application so that the official can provide guidance on whether the program is a good fit. EMBA residencies are held once per month in either of two locations, Los Angeles or Ann Arbor. In between those residencies, students interact virtually with teachers and classmates and complete 20 to 25 hours of coursework per week.

Fact: According to UCLA, the goal of its executive MBA program is to equip students with the "immediate skills" necessary to rise to a higher level of leadership.
