The Haas Undergraduate Program earned the highest ranking among six Berkeley schools and colleges in the most recent annual University of California Undergraduate Experience Survey.
Based on student feedback, the Undergraduate Program ranked No. 1 in 11 out of 12 satisfaction categories, including the top scores for overall academic and social experience. Two-thirds of undergraduate Haas students surveyed said they were satisfied or very satisfied with the value of their education given the cost.
Haas was also the best in 12 out of 19 skill development categories, such as analytical/critical thinking skills, writing and reading skills, and interpersonal skills. About three out of four students said their analytical/critical thinking skills and their English speaking skills were very good to expert, while the remainder said they were fair to good. Haas was the only department where no students ranked those skills as very poor to poor.
The other schools surveyed were the Colleges of Chemistry, Engineering, Environmental Design, Letters and Science, and Natural Resources.
