Haas Ranks Second in Full-time MBA Career Placement

Haas tied for second place with Kellogg, MIT/Sloan, and Columbia for best job placement of 2012 full-time MBA graduates, according to a new BusinessWeek mini-ranking.

Only 4 percent of the graduates from all four schools did not have jobs three months after graduation, according to the ranking. Lisa Feldman, executive director of MBA Career Management, has credited the school’s placement achievement to her team, which launched a personalization initiative focused on getting to know every single student and his or her unique needs.

BusinessWeek ranked Haas #8 for highest-paid graduates in another mini-ranking. According to Berkeley MBA Career Management, the starting salary for 2012 full-time MBA graduates averaged $116,045, up 1.5 percent from a year earlier.

BusinessWeek will release its complete full-time MBA rankings Nov. 15.
