The University of California MBA Programs, including Berkeley-Haas, will be the lead academic sponsors of the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) 22nd annual Conference and Career Expo from Oct. 13 to 15 in Anaheim, Calif.
In addition to Haas, the MBA Programs from Davis, Irvine, Los Angeles, Riverside, and San Diego will be joint academic sponsors of the conference, whose theme will be "Accelerating Hispanic Business Talent." The conference, the nation’s largest career expo for Hispanic MBA professionals, is expected to bring together 8,000 Hispanic business students, professionals, and entrepreneurs, ultimately helping a diverse group of MBA students connect with prospective employers and build promising careers. The event is open to all ethnicities.
Joint sponsorship of the conference by UC business schools reflects diversity as a defining feature of California’s past, present, and future as well as its central role in the mission of the University of California.
The National Society of Hispanic MBAs is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to increase the number of Hispanics graduating from business schools and enhance their career opportunities. For more information visit nshmba.org.
