A panel of business leaders will discuss the role of social media in enabling businesses to do good at the 9th Annual Haas Celebration at Gap Headquarters in San Francisco on Jan. 26.

The event will run from 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. The panel discussion, which will begin at 6:45 p.m., was organized in partnership with the Haas School's Center for Responsible Business and will be moderated by Kellie McElhaney, the center's co-faculty director.

The panelists will be:

  • Victor d'Allant, MBA 87, president, dallant.networks, and executive director, Social Edge, the Skoll Foundation's online community for social entrepreneurs.

Attendees also will be able to stroll through the renowned modern art collection of Gap founders Doris and Don Fisher, BS 51. Since 2003, the Fishers have hosted the San Francisco Haas Alumni Celebration at Gap headquarters every spring, inviting the Haas community to hear thought-provoking conversations with leading-edge speakers and to enjoy their art collection.

The event is expected to sell out, and registration is required by Jan. 21.
