Executive Coach Marshall Goldsmith to Lead MBA Workshop on Reaching the Top, Jan. 29

Learn what it takes to climb the very top rungs of the corporate ladder from noted author, educator, and executive coach Marshall Goldsmith, who will present a workshop in the Berkeley MBA Leadership Development Series on Sunday, Jan. 29, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. in Andersen Auditorium.

Winner of the 2011 Thinkers50 Leadership Award sponsored by the Harvard Business Review, Goldsmith is the co-author and editor of more than 30 books, including the best-selling What Got You Here Won't Get You There, the topic of his workshop.

Cameron Anderson, associate professor in the Haas Management of Organization Group, will enlighten participants on how to tackle the issues of influence and collaborative work in the series’ second workshop, scheduled for Feb. 26.

The Leadership Development Series, a yearlong program of not-for-credit workshops now in its third year, included four presentations in the fall. “It is designed to help students develop additional leadership competencies that complement their academic course work and experiential learning opportunities,” says Timothy Gaherty, director of MBA leadership initiatives.

The workshops are open to all MBA students, who will receive email invitations to the events.
