Berkeley Haas ranked No. 8 among U.S. business schools and No. 15 internationally (tied with Shanghai University) in the 2025 Financial Times Global MBA Ranking.

Haas rose in the ranking this year due to improvements in multiple areas including increased faculty research publications; greater gender balance in the student body and faculty; an improved alumni career progress rank; and a higher grad employment rank after three months (despite a slower market and US job decline.)

The 2025 methodology weightings remained unchanged from last year. About 56% of the ranking is based on a survey of FTMBA alumni who graduated in 2021; the remainder is based on data provided by participating schools.

Alumni salaries continue to be a strong point, placing Haas ninth in the world and seventh in the U.S. for weighted salaries that are adjusted for variations across different sectors—one of the most important aspects of the ranking. Haas was also No. 1 for its percentage of faculty who hold doctorates (100%).
