SF Networking Event to Draw 500, Oct. 21

The Haas School's fifth annual San Francisco Networking Event will bring together 500 students and alumni to eat, drink, and network within their industries and their industries of interest from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Oct. 21.

“Haas alumni and students will be able to build their networks, refine their elevator pitches, and build their personal brand,’’ says Meg Roundy, associate director of student-alumni relations.

During the event, 13 industries, including clean technology, venture capital, entrepreneurship, and real estate, will be marked by color-coded balloons and posters. Guests will wear color-coded ribbons that match their self-selected industry so that students and alumni in the same field can find each other and network more efficiently.

This event is organized by Haas Alumni Relations, Haas Career Services, the MBAA, and the Evening & Weekend MBA Program. Alumni and alumni guests are $25; students and student guests are $10. Faculty and senior staff are free. Registration is required by Oct. 15. To register: haas.berkeley.edu/alumni/sfnetworking.
