Haas Moves Up in Global MBA Ranking

The Financial Times ranked the Full-time Berkeley MBA Program #13 among US programs, up from #16 last year, according to a report released on Monday, Jan. 25.

Worldwide, the Berkeley MBA also moved up three spots to #28 and tied with the University of Michigan (Ross) and Chinese University of Hong Kong. Haas faculty research again ranked #7 in the world.

Haas also appeared in the top ten of the following subjects:

#2 in corporate social responsibility
#5 in entrepreneurship

The Financial Times ranking is based largely on a survey of alumni from the class of 2006. Alumni responses about salary, career progression, and satisfaction with the program account for 55 percent of the ranking. Idea generation accounts for 20 percent, including 10 percent for faculty research in peer-reviewed journals. Diversity of students, faculty, and advisory board; international content in the MBA program; and international student mobility measures account for 25 percent.
