Haas Faculty Research Ranks #5 in Financial Times

The Financial Times ranked the Haas School’s full-time MBA program #25 in the world, up #28 last year, and #13 again among US programs in the 2011 Global MBA Ranking published today (Jan. 31). Haas faculty research ranked #5 in the world, up from #7 last year.

The ranking also included the Haas School in an article about executive education discounts for alumni.

Other highlights of the ranking include :

#2 in corporate social responsibility
#6 in entrepreneurship
#6 in alumni placement success
#9 in placement of doctoral graduates

Data for the ranking is gathered from an alumni survey of the full-time MBA Class of 2007 and from participating schools. The data is weighted as follows: 55% alumni responses on career progress and satisfaction with the program; 35% on diversity factors of the program, its faculty, and advisory board as well as international content of the program; and 10% number of faculty research articles published in 40 peer-reviewed journals selected by the Financial Times (adjusted for faculty size).
