Haas Alumnus and Donor Harold Furst Passes Away Harold Furst, BS 39 (Econ.), MBA 45, a Bay Area businessman, philanthropist, and one of the initial business advisers to rock promoter Bill Graham, passed away June 28 in Oakland. He was 94. (07/17/2011)

Haas Duo Morgan and Wang Receives California Management Review’s Accenture Award Professor John Morgan and PhD alumnus Richard Wang tied with another set of researchers as recipients of the California Management Review’s 2011 Accenture Award for their article “Tournaments for Ideas.” (06/13/2011)

Haas Supporter Arno Rayner, MBA 54, BS 49, Passes Away Arno Rayner, MBA 54, BS 49 (Econ.), an avid supporter of the Haas School who built his career in investment management, passed away in his Tiburon home on Dec. 3 from complications from pneumonia following a series of strokes.
