Haas Names New Executive Director of Part-Time and Executive MBA Programs Jon Kaplan, former assistant dean of Chapman University's MBA programs, has been hired as the Haas School's new executive director of Part-Time and Executive MBA Programs, effective March 5. Kaplan's wide-ranging career also has included working at UCLA's Anderson School, directing operations in UCLA men's athletics, and even serving as a public announcer for the Harlem Globetrotters. Warren Hellman, Haas Board Member and San Francisco Financier, Passes Away Longtime Berkeley-Haas benefactor Warren Hellman, BA 55, a successful financier and San Francisco power broker, passed away Sunday evening from complications from Leukemia treatment. He was 77. (12/18/2011)

Patricia Dunn, Former Haas Board Member and CEO of Barclays Global Investors, Passes Away Former Barclays Global Investors CEO Patricia Dunn, BA 75 (Journalism), a pioneer for women in business who served on the Haas Board for 11 years, passed away Sunday after a long battle against cancer.
