Electronic Arts CEO to Speak, Critique Startups at Alumni Event, March 22

Alumnus and Electronics Arts CEO John Riccitiello, BS 81, will discuss the latest developments in digital entertainment and give two startups feedback at a Haas Alumni Network South Bay Chapter event Thursday, March 22, at the company's Redwood Shores headquarters. 

Titled “Digital Entertainment and Social Networking: What’s New, What’s on The Horizon, and How it Will Change Our Lives,” the event will run from 6:15 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at 250 Shoreline Drive, Redwood Shores. The event, offered in partnership with Electronic Arts, will begin with one hour of networking and hors d'oeuvres. 
 
Riccitiello will share his insights on the future of the technology and business and provide a sneak peek into some of what the company is working on now. 
 
Students and alumni from Berkeley engineering, science, and business programs are invited to apply to be one of the two teams selected to receive Riccitiello's guidance during the event. The deadline for submissions to the startup competition has been extended to 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14. Everyone who submits an application to the competition will receive written feedback from the EA creative development team.
